Create mu-law audio for IVR integrations
You can now create mu-law audio for IVR call centre integrations directly from Narakeet. The µ-law audio codec (also known as mu-law or u-law) is format for audio files used by some older telecommunications systems, primarily in North America, striking a good balance between file size and audio quality for phone-line conversations. Some legacy IVR systems require µ-law audio files.

Until today, users of those systems had to first create audio files in Narakeet at higher quality, then convert the output to µ-law audio using a separate audio conversion tool. From today, you can make 64Khz PCM 8KHz µ-law audio files (the most common format required by legacy IVR systems) directly in Narakeet.
